My inspiration for this record of my days:

The blind leading the blind

That is what it’s called when I try to teach my girls how to sew.

For our first project we chose pajama pants.  Easy enough, right?

I’m still not exactly sure what went wrong, but here is the result:

My sister Sarah pointed out that they are just right if you have a very long bottom!

We all had a really good time laughing about the little mix-up, and it was fairly easy to fix.  No harm done!

    Good times! Another good out loud laugh. When I was in my early 20's I decided I was going to sew something. That something was a teddy bear. So I folded the fabric in half, traced the shape and cut. Added button eyes, a triangle nose with thread and sewed it up. I then proceeded to stuff it. I wanted it to really fill out so I kept stuffing then I sewed up the hole. After I was done I gave it a hug and realized it was like a rock. I put too much stuffing inside. I think it could have been used defensively. I also just made a baby blanket for a lady I visit teach. Three of the sides were squareish. After all was said and done it had the shape of a trapezoid. Awesome. I still gave it with a disclaimer. But she was very generous with her praise. She said it would be used so much and draped on the baby that she'd never notice. Bless her heart! :)
